Albert (“Chip”) Payne

Business Manager, Office of Continuing Education

Chip (he/him) is the Business Manager for the Office of Continuing Education at Princeton Theological Seminary. He brings over thirty-five years of accounting, business management, venture capital, mergers, acquisitions and development experience working with diverse organizational structures including public/private, profit and not-for-profit, educational, and start-up. Chip leverages his experience as a collegiate football coach to synthesize finance, stewardship, and best practices for business across multiple co-curricular projects at PTS.
Chip has also served as a business enterprise and tax structuring consultant working with full stage audits, reviews and compilations, international, federal, state, and local tax compilations and consolidations, as well as construction development loan/cost certifications and reconciliations. Chip, his spouse Tammy, and their son Colton live in Hopewell, New Jersey, where they spend most of their weekends at the ice hockey rink or on the lacrosse field.
